Pukeokahu School Events

Pukeokahu School runs the following student-oriented events:

• An annual Pet Day
• A skiing trip to Turoa annually
• A school camp every 2 years
• Regular combined sporting events – swimming, athletics & winter sports – with our two neighbouring schools, Moawhango & Taoroa, and the wider Taihape and Hunterville district

The Pukeokahu community runs two major fund raising events annually:

• The Pukeokahu Horse Trek – 5th – 6th March 2011

The Pukeokahu Horse Trek is held annually in February for the benefit of Pukeokahu School.

• The Big Back Country Bike Ride – Saturday 30th April 2011

The Big Back Country Bike Ride is held annually in April by the Pukeokahu Hall Committee for the benefit of Pukeokahu School and the Pukeokahu Community Hall.
