YouTube

Uncheck Share Related VideosYouTube is a fantastic way to connect with your wider learning community.  As with any form of media sharing you need to be a little bit careful since YouTube is an open site.  Below I have embedded a video on how to up-load a video to YouTube then embed it into your eWindow the safe way.
YouTube is not only a fantastic environment for sharing student learning, but it is also a great place to find videos that will engage your students in different subjects and topics.  For example, I love animation and what better way to show your students examples of fantastic animation then on YouTube.
As long as you acknowledge the owners of the video and provide a link back to the original clip, people generally don’t mind you sharing their work. As long as you remember to uncheck the ‘Include related videos’ box, the use of YouTube videos is perfectly safe.

You can see where I have used YouTube on the Pukeokahu School Website here and here.
